Healthy Beet Smoothie for less than a buck
Today I tried for the first time this delicious beet smoothie and I can't stop thinking about having another one.
When I'm on the road I like to wake up with a healthy breakfast. What's better than a smoothie that i can make in less than 5 minutes. Many truckers complain that there is no way to keep a healthy diet while on the road. The 5000 calories pizzas in the truck stops are best bet when you have only 30 minutes off duty.
A couple months ago, I decided to change the way I eat and now I start my morning with a smoothie that costs me less than $1. I lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks and I felt more energetic than ever.

#1 Delicious Beet Smoothie!
1 small red beet, trimmed and peeled
1 apple, cored
1 stalk of celery
1 cup of yogurt
1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF THE INGREDIENTS
- Beets – contain nutrients that may help lower your blood pressure, fight inflammation, and support detoxification.
- Apples – “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” is a famous saying for good reason. Helps to fight inflammation and heart health.
